As stated in other sections of the site, I have a day job.

I am a business analyst, which means that it is my job to analyse the impact of change on a digital product (app, website etc), as well as define how it should work so that developers know how to build it….like an architect vs a builder.

However, the agency was always looking to make use of employees skills even if they fell outside of their traditional departments, so during my time working there, I became the agency photographer.

This is also where the BLT photography part came into being. I was referred to as BLT throughout the agency…it was like a nickname, like in the states where people are called TJ or SE. So BLT photography became an inhouse agency sub-brand in many ways.

Anyways…..to the point.

When the business wanted to build a new website, I was not only tasked with carrying out analysis to document what the business needed the website to do and define the rules for the various sections; I was also tasked with doing the photography.

The photographs that I created were made up of the office with people working and socialising. I was also tasked with defining a new portraiture style that would be used moving forward. Some of those portraits can be found within the portraiture section on this site.

I spent a number of months documenting the office at work so that we would have plenty of images to populate the site.
